Focus Group Money lists paid focus groups, research studies, product tests and clinical trials, and sends you straight to the organizer running each one. No account, no wall, no middleman.
Why it exists
Paid research is real work that pays real money, and finding it is unreasonably hard. The studies are scattered across dozens of recruiter websites that do not know about each other, and the sites that collect them tend to make the problem worse.
What most directories do
Put a signup form between you and the study, hide which company is recruiting, and leave closed listings up because traffic is traffic. You give up your details before you know what you are applying to.
What this one does
Names the recruiter on every listing, links to their own page rather than ours, shows when the study was last confirmed and what it works out to per hour, and takes it down when it closes. You can read everything before deciding.
Who runs it
Steve Levine, founder
Steve has spent years researching and taking part in paid focus groups and market research studies, and built this site to spare other people the search. He also runs OpenClassActions.com, which tracks open class action settlements. He writes the guides published here.
How the site is kept up
The catalogue is not maintained by hand. An automated pipeline re-reads every approved source twice a day, applies the publication rules, retires studies that have closed and rebuilds the pages. How we verify every study sets out exactly what those rules are.
How it pays for itself
Worth stating plainly, because it shapes what you can trust here.
- No company pays to be listed. Not for a place, not for a better position. A listing is never an endorsement.
- Some links may earn a commission where a platform runs an affiliate programme. It never changes whether a study is listed, or where.
- We do not sell your data, because we do not collect it. There are no accounts and no email list. See the privacy policy.
- We do not run display advertising. The site loads no third-party trackers or ad scripts at all.
What we are not
We are a directory. We are not the organizer of any study listed here, not a research panel, and not an employer. We cannot decide who qualifies, cannot influence selection, and cannot chase a payment on your behalf — the organizer sets eligibility, timing and terms. Nothing on this site is medical, legal or financial advice.
