How this site works
Every listing traces back to the organizer.
Most directories republish whatever they can scrape and let you find out the hard way. This page sets out exactly what we check before a study appears, what we refuse to publish, and what we still cannot promise you.
The rule everything else follows from
A study is published only when we can trace it to a specific page on the organizer’s own website. Not a company that looks legitimate — a page, for that study, on their domain.
What that means in practice
Each approved source is listed by domain with a pattern its study pages must match. A link that does not match is not published, even from a source we already trust. An official company website on its own is not evidence that a particular page is a live study.
Why it is strict
The failure everyone else has is publishing a signup page as though it were a study. You apply, nothing is there, and you have handed your details to a panel you did not choose. A registration form is never listed here as a current study.
What we refuse to list
These are excluded by policy, not by oversight. Of 24 sources we have reviewed, only 11 are allowed to publish.
- Classified ads and forum posts
- Other aggregators
- Unattributed form links
- Marketing pages
- Generic panel signups
- Studies with no stated organizer
We also never log in, never submit a screener, and never create an account to reach a listing. If a study cannot be seen without handing over personal information, we do not list it — which means the ones you see here can be read before you decide.
Keeping them current
A stale listing wastes your time as surely as a fake one.
- Collected twice a day. Every approved source is re-read morning and evening, with a further verification pass on Sundays.
- Each listing carries its own date. Study pages show when we last saw that study on its source, not when you happened to load the page.
- Closed studies are withdrawn, not hidden. When a study passes its deadline or stops appearing, its page stops offering an application and reports itself as gone to search engines.
- A failed collection never empties the site. If a source errors or returns nothing, its existing studies stay put. Only a complete, successful read from a source that publishes its whole board can retire listings in bulk.
Right now there are 376 open studies on the site, 294 of them remote.
What we still cannot promise
Verification is about the listing, not the outcome. Being honest about the limit is part of the point.
We cannot get you in
The organizer decides who qualifies. Most applications do not lead to a session, and that is normal rather than a sign something went wrong.
We cannot chase your payment
We hold no payment records and have no relationship with the organizer. Timing and method are theirs, and the place to ask is their own support.
We are not paid to list anyone
No company pays for a place here and none can buy a better position. Listing a study is not an endorsement of the company running it.
We can be wrong
A source can change a page between our checks. If something here looks off, tell us and we will look at it.
Never pay a fee to take part in a research study. No legitimate organizer charges you to participate, and none needs your bank login.
